What a great weekend. Lea and I headed to Oklahoma City with a couple of friends where we caught the TSO (Trans Siberian Orchestra) concert, had supper at the Melting Pot (fondue is interesting) and then stayed at the Grandison Inn bed and breakfast.
Then to top it all off, about noon we’ll be headed to the airport to pick up Taylor. I haven’t seen Taylor since June when I dropped him off in Miami to do his AIM mission term. We’re going to get to have him home for about 10 days before he heads back to Miami for his final 7 months. I’m learning more and more all the time that Christmas is about family being together. I’m glad mine will all be together.
Have a great day. Oh, here’s a video of TSO that we saw last night. Amazing.

I would LOVE to see them. They were in our area earlier in the month, but we just didn't have the $4 for tickets. Oh to be a preacher again when we had so much more money!!
Aww man! I wish I had known ya'll were in town. We don't leave for TN until tomorrow. Would've been great to hang out for a minute, even though we don't have TSO/Melting Pot money.
I would love to introduce you to my family sometime, so if you're ever back in town and we're here, look us up. We'd love to say hey in person!
Blessings for the season and know that we're pumped for you guys to get to hang with Taylor for a while.
I asked for a TSO CD for Christmas – my wife bought concert tickets instead! AWESOME. What a great show.
What's really interesting – you can see them in OKC while I'm seeing them in Louisiana. How'd they do that? Check out their wikipedia page…look for TSO East and TSO West…very cool.
Greg – I'll spot you $4 next time they're in town.
Robin – That would have been great. I would love to meet your family sometime. Are you going to make the Tulsa Workshop this year?
Joe – A west and east TSO? Interesting, but still just as amazing.
I love the video – almost like being there again. We were on the floor, 16 rows from the front (THANK YOU Mr. Riley for splurging and spending $6!) I'm so glad I went although I'll probably wait a couple of years before going again… I'm getting old, ya know!
How much do you love TSO? Aren't they amazing? We couldn't have been much further back in the audience and the show still blew us away. Fantastic. (Although we didn't get snowed on– bummer.)
