There’s not a Wednesday that goes by that I don’t think of the Dump People. This is their day… their day of the week to be fed. Every Wednesday Marc Tindall and a group of Christians make a trip to the Tegucigalpa dump in Honduras to feed starving people who live there. Sadly, the dump people have spent the last 6 days searching the trash for something to eat. While we’ve been asking questions like, “When or what are we going to eat?” they’ve been asking questions like, “Will we eat today?” Today is Wednesday … so they’ll eat today. That warms my heart.
In a little over a month, on May 5th, we’ll have our second “Feed the Dump People Day.” Last year’s “Feed the Dump People Day was incredible. Feel free to drop by this blog on May 5th and make a pledge. With your help we want to continue this ministry.
“Jesus said, ‘For I was hungry and you game me something to eat, and I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. And the people responded, ‘When did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, and thirsty and give you something to drink?’ And Jesus said, ‘Whatever you did for the least one of these, you did it for me…’” Matthew 25

Thank you for your continued support of the Honduras Project…

I can't even imagine what that would be like. I will be visiting you blog in May.
