TULSA WORKSHOP

I’m at the Tulsa Workshop this weekend. I love the Tulsa Workshop. Every year they line up some amazing speakers. They have 5 speakers to choose from for each session, making the toughest part of the day deciding which speaker to go hear. Don McLaughlin kicked things off last night with an AMAZING lesson. I can’t wait to hear the lessons today.

I’m honored to be doing two classes this year:

  • “Take Up Your Cross, Not Your Easy-Chair” is about taking spiritual risks and how God made us to be risk takers. I find it interesting that Jesus always had lots of praise for those who were willing to take risks in their faith.

  • “Becoming Jesus in the Lives of Others” is a class about making a difference in the lives of others. I’ve been looking forward to this lesson for months.

If you’re at the Workshop this year … enjoy. If you’re not, make plans to come next year.

I’d be honored if you’d remember me in your prayers this weekend.

Father, i pray that you will bless trey as he shares from your word, and his experiences, how to take risks for you and how to make a difference in the lives of others. i pray that you will powerfully speak through him, so that he can convey your message to those you have prepared to hear it. may you be glorified through his words, and even more through the lives of those who are touched by those words. all glory be to you, God. amen.

i will continue praying for you, also.

If I were there, I'd come to your classes. The first year I spoke at the Pepperdine lectures, they had me in a classroom with the back wall covered with mirrored glass. From my perspective, it looked like twice as many people were present. Not a bad idea for a church auditorium!

Used to go lots, can't anymore but wish I could. I always pray that you will do well in whatever you do for the cause of the Lord. Be safe, enjoy it all. Remember these good times. Proud of you and for you. Speaking at Tulsa was one of your goals at one time. gmj

Hope you all have a wonderful and uplifting experience. I always thought I would try to make it one year…now? I doubt it. But I am sure you will all be blessed from being there.

Wish I was there too. Have a great one.
