When I was at Sunset I found out that a lot of the college kids went on “church dates.” In fact my DW claims our first date was a “church date.” So #5 might actually work in a CofC college town or on a campus ministry. #1 was my favorite. I think I’ll get Pat to make me a couple of signs. Maybe I’ll just put them in my yard with a general invitation for everyone who drives by to come to church. We could call it “drive-by invitations!”

Reminds me of the visitation programs we used to have. We’d be given a card with a recent visitor’s name on it and the only reason we’d go visit that person and invite them back was to avoid the guilt of having to admit at the next visitation program meeting that we didn’t make our visit. I don’t recall the program ever bringing anyone to the Lord. There was no real interest … just a card to be checked off.

    I enjoyed #3.
I don’t think Christians are that frank today. I definately think it is not the way to invite someone to church. :-) Thanks Trey for sharing this video with us. I enjoyed it.

Number 5 has to be a winner. You get the girl and you add to the numbers in church on Sunday.
