We’re headed this weekend to the Red River Family Encampment in the beautiful mountains of Red River, New Mexico. A couple thousand people will be showing up for five days of fellowship, bible study and relaxation. I’m teaching 3 adult classes in the mornings on, “Finding new Ministries in Unexpected Places,” and in the evenings I’ll be teaching the Jr High and High School group.
I hope to find a little time to fish and a lot of time to relax. The weather forecast in Red River calls for highs in the 70′s and lows in the 40′s all week. Now that makes me

Hope to meet you there-I’m beyond ready for the break and the spiritual boost I get there!
I’m ready for a break too. I’m ready for singing with a thousand people.
Come hug my neck when you see me.
Red River is one of my favorite places in the world. The world tends to lift off my shoulders when I’m there. We caught part of an encampment one year and really enjoyed it. You guys have fun.
Mine too, Jenny. I think Red River is a mecca for people from the panhandle of Texas.
Looks like a great place to spend a week. However, when I first looked at that picture, I thought for sure there was someone waterskiing down the main street. It was a fire hydrant! Hope you have a very relaxing week.
