Dr. Dee Green has spent his week in Honduras building houses and seeing patients in the medical clinics. He signed up to come to Honduras knowing full well that he’d be gone on his anniversary. Today he celebrates his 38th anniversary away from his sweet wife Susan.
I’m sure when Dee gets home he’ll make it up to Susan. But, all in all, he’s one of my heroes for coming to Honduras and serving others in the name of Jesus.
Happy Anniversary, Dee & Susan.

We are moved beyond words to see God’s work! You are all heroes to us! We will keep you in our prayers.
Ya’ll are my hero’s. Just wish I could of went with ya’ll. Happy anniversary Dr. Green and Susan.
Two of the sweetest people I know. Did he mention he left on Susan’s birthday also? If I know Dee, he will make it up to her in such a big way! I know she stands behind him with everything she has so not really a sacrifice for either one of them. Just their heart-felt love for humanity!
Trey-you’re finding out what I have known for 34 years about the heart of Dee Green. There are some other pretty good “hero candidates” in Honduras this week. God bless you all as you serve His children.
Dyno-Mike … you are and will always be one of my heroes.
Happy Anniversary to my sweet sister and wonderful brother-in-law. Trey, you are right. They are very special and a wonderful example to all of us. You have several of my family members over there with you. Please tell them all hello and I love them. They are all my heroes!
Kay … thanks for the note. I let Dee read it.
Prayers are still being lifted for each of you and the work you are all doing (along with the sacrifices made to do them). An amazing thing to be a part of.
