NO MORE KIDS FOR US

I’m a little sad today. I’ve got 4 boys and always thought it would be great to have a 5th. That was until I read this morning that “Every 5th child born in this world is Chinese!” I guess that means we’re done with kids … I can’t even SPEAK Chinese!

Reminds me of one of my favorite moments from the show, “King of the Hill.” Hank and his buds meet their new neighbor, Quan, for the first time and the exchange goes something like this: Hank: So, are you Chinese or Japanese? Quan: Hank Hill, you dumb redneck. Iā€™m from Laos, a small land-locked country in Southeast Asia! Hank: (blinks a couple of times and says) So, are you Chinese or Japanese?)

Seriously though, I have 3 kids, if I have 2 more will the 5th be Chinese? That would really help with our diversity statistics!

Hmmm. Want me to hook you up with a lady who assists with Ukrainian adoption? Sam didn’t speak anything when he came home, so no worries about a language barrier there.
