I love all of your posts, but I have to say that “party for a prostitute” probably challenged my thinking the most. You are always “quotable” so they are all great.

  2. Lisa says:

I really enjoyed reading all your favorites. You make me laugh. You’re a great writer! I’m sure your preaching ain’t half-bad either, despite what your son thinks. :)

Monica … I love that one too. It’s probably one of my favorite stories. It is challenging to my faith, my comfort zone and my thought process.

Lisa … glad you’re enjoying. Honestly, I’m really uncomfortable writing. It’s hard for me to put on paper what flows so easy in words. I’d rather tell a story any day. I’m glad I’m a preacher and not an author. BUT I’m having a lot of fun doing this. I’ve loved meeting new people, making new friends and even finding a new ministry at times. Wish I’d have started this long ago. My friend Monica “mommysmart” was the one who got me going. (Thanks Monica)

I’m thankful for my wife who proofs everything on here. She says it’s because I make lots of mistakes, but I think she wants to make sure I’m not writing embarrassing stuff about her. I do make lots of mistakes. No if I could get her to write my sermons. That’d be nice. :)

  4. The Preacher's Household: says:

I am not sure I want you to “finish” up of family stuff. I have enjoyed your family entries.

  5. Trey Morgan says:

Kathy … me too. I’ve enjoyed talking about them this week. We’ll do it again soon. I promise.

  6. Bobby Cohoon says:

Great job……..I like that Toilet lids, Male Bonding post. I think I identified with everything in it…which reminds me I need to get a drink of milk. A drink of milk being different from a glass of milk which I never get!

  7. Gallagher says:

Great posts. I really appreciate your thoughts on the post entitled “Real Church.”

    Thanks

  8. nb says:

My favorite post is “Real Church”.
My family was involved in a horrible accident about six months ago. I was unable to take care of myself or my family for a few months.
Through this accident I have learned what “real church” means. I also dicovered what it means to have a “church family”.

    nb,

We pray you’re doing better. And I’m glad to hear positive things about the church. Thanks for sharing…
