So what is the top post that gets three times more hits everyday, from Google, Yahoo, ETC, than any other I’ve done. Here is the top 3 posts …
- How to Make your Wife Happy: Why would this be the post still getting tons of hits everyday? Your guess is as good as mine, but here are my two guesses: (FIRST) Maybe there are a lot of good husbands out there looking for ideas on how to “go the extra mile” in their relationship with their wives. (I seriously don’t think this is the reason). (SECOND) There are a lot of unhappy wives in this world whose husbands don’t have a clue how to make them happy. (I’m choosing this as the best answer).
- Emotional Affairs: Wow, is this really that big of a problem. Okay people, remember there are rules about having friendships with people of the opposite sex: 1 – It must be just a friendship. 2 – Your spouse has to know about it and have no problems with it. 3 – There cannot be any secrets from your spouse.
- Free Porn or Porn Free: This is probably the third most “hit” post. And yes, most hits are from people who are searching for free porn. I just hope when they hit the article they’ll see that there are links that can help them overcome their addiction for pornography. Here are those links: Pure Online, Pure Intimacy Online, Pornography in Marriage, Porn-Free and XXXChurch.

I am a Christian husband and father, who moonlights as the minister for the church of Christ in Childress, Texas. My wife Lea and I have been married for 22 years. We are doing our best to raise our 4 boys, who are all growing up way too fast.
I noticed that I picked these three on yesterdays post, but since I’m family you really don’t pay me any attention!!!

I may have to try the same thing. I am really puzzled by the blogs that get repeat hits. I have a particular blog that has grown in popularity over the weeks for unknown reasons…baffling!

The question for discussion is: “Why do you think so many men are searching for the terms, ‘Things that will make my wife happy’?”
The simple answer is that many women seem to believe that with a Y chromosome comes the power to read women’s minds.
Now I don’t know about you, but I failed to receive that in my standard issue maleness packet.
Hatred of asking directions? Check.
Love of sports? Check.
Addiction to holding the remote? Check.
Reading of the female mind? Not a chance.

I didn’t pick either of your suggestions. I would have figured that any man married for any length of time would KNOW the reason for this popular search.
As a husband, I can definitively say the reason men look for “How to Make your Wife Happy” is because they are in TROUBLE for something.

Well, my my. I’ve never won anything but through sadness and heartache I knew which ones would most likely be at the top. My marriage as an unhappy wife with a husband who has a sex addition,it wasn’t a difficult guess for me. But as they say “if it don’t kill ya, it’ll make ya stronger” and such is the case for me. I love God, know God, walk with God like never ever before! He’s the Victor!
Thanks, Trey, you’re a wonderful example (as are all you men here) of what a Christian man and father should be. You guys make me hopeful that one day, God will place just the right man in my life. Now…I’ve got some sermon snoozin’ to do! LOL!

i guess i am naive enough to think that a husband would want to know how to make his wife happy in some form or another…and i figure i’m aware enough to guess that he would ask anyone other than his wife.
‘the emotional affairs’ that is a good topic that i don’t think is often talked about by itself.
