One year ago today the blog-world mourned with John & Maggie Dobbs over the loss of their 18-year-old son, John Robert Dobbs. His death came just a couple of days before he was to graduate from high school.
Today on that anniversary our hearts still hurt for John & Maggie. Today this blog honors the life of John Robert.

John & Maggie … you are still in our prayers.
I am a Christian husband and father, who moonlights as the minister for the church of Christ in Childress, Texas. My wife Lea and I have been married for 22 years. We are doing our best to raise our 4 boys, who are all growing up way too fast.
I absolutely love to listen to John Robert singing “Beautiful One” on his memorial page.

I read “The Shack” – it’s definitely got some spiritual deception. I’m glad it helped him, but it’s inviting you into deception.
Gabrielle … you’ve got to remember the book is a “fiction” book. Meaning it was never meant to be believed as true.
