I’ve got a long list of recommendations – The Boiling Pot in Tillman’s Corner, AL; The Shed BBQ in Ocean Springs, MS; Lea’s Lunchroom in Lecompte, LA; meat pies in Natchitoches, LA – all just a short hop off the interstate. (I spend a fair amount of time on these roads.)

Whatever you do, when you come through Baton Rouge, if it’s Wednesday evening about 7:00, stop in and sit with us for a bit at the South Baton Rouge Church of Christ (www.sbrcc.org). Whether you take I-12 or I-10, we’re nestled right in the corner where they meet. We might even find somebody that’ll take you home for the evening.
