Just wanted you to know Kathy has been singing Christmas songs all weekend. We were already the kind to put up the tree on Halloween night but this early for us. Maybe is seeing all the xmas stuff in the move that got her in the mood.

If you’ve wanted to do this your whole life I think one year youshould get to. I vote YES! I think you’ll be tired of it by Christmas but you should at least get the chance to do it. In your mom’s defense, she may not have let you put up decorations early but she sure does go all out for christmas (and every other holiday!) She knows how to make it special even if you dont get to celebrate 2 months early! Hope you get you christmas wish!(or would it be your halloween wish?!)

I totally agree on putting the Christmas tree up after halloween. We go to the in laws or to my parents for thanksgiving anyway.. So why not get it done when your in the mood for it? Other wise by Christmas you don’t want to do it and you will find yourself at walmart in the christmas section buying an inflateable christmas tress for outdoor use only and putting it up inside…

I totally agree on putting the Christmas tree up after halloween. We go to the in laws or to my parents for thanksgiving anyway.. So why not get it done when your in the mood for it? Other wise by Christmas you don’t want to do and you will find yourself at walmart in the christmas section buying an inflateable christmas for outdoor use only and putting it up inside…

BTW, if you haven’t indulged in Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas music, give yourself a gift of their CDs!! Singing isn’t all that great w/ the male voices, but the instrumentalists are outstanding. Some really good hard-rocking seasonal songs.

She’s probably concerned about the fire hazards created from a 2 month old dead piece of cedar/pine.

I think you should dress up as a Christmas tree for Halloween, and just leave your costume lying around the living room for a couple of weeks.
