I’M SO BLESSED

I’m SO blessed that one week from today, I’ll be on a plane headed to Honduras. On this five day trip we will help feed, serve and build a house for Jesus. Jesus will be there, and we’ll see him when we look into the eyes of the poor and hungry of Honduras.

I’m SO blessed that I am going to get to serve at a sit-down banquet at a dump. Among the stench of rotting garbage, I’ll be honored to serve hot food to hungry people. The “Jesus Banquet” will be the most amazing event. We won’t be serving just sandwiches or beans & rice this time, but the people of the dump will eat meat at the Jesus banquet. Why? Because we want to give our best, because God sent his best to us (Jesus).
I’m SO blessed that I got to put a check in the mail yesterday to purchase the materials to build a home next week while we are in Honduras. The money for the home came from donations from local Childress people. It will be our first “Childress” house but by no means our last.
I’m SO blessed to be taking new tennis shoes, supplies and LOTS of goodies for every Casa kid, all donated by good people wanting to help out. There’s no doubt that our suitcases will be full and heavy.
I’m SO blessed that I’ll get to spend the week with Marc & Terri Tindall. I have fallen in love with these two people who have an amazing heart for people, missions and God.
What else does God have planned for us next week in Honduras? I don’t know, but I know it will be great, and I know I’ll be blessed.

Amazing thing about blessings. The river runs two ways. The God We Serve continues to put people in our lives that encourage, support, love, and lift us up. You are one of those amazing blessings and we cannot wait for you and your friends to be here. The Banquet for Jesus is almost here and even though I am not certain that it will run smoothly, I believe that our GOD will make it an amazing day.

So, the airlines are surely going to charge u for all this heavy, extra baggage, right? So, won't that be a tax write off?

Trey I've heard about you for years, mostly from my little brother, Eddie Stegall. I'm glad I finally found your blog, I see how you and he get along so well! And you give Mark a big hug from ME next week – I've known him since we were born. Our prayers are with you and your trip next week! Cathy Stegall Kellison

I am SO excited for you, and sure wish I could be there, too!! What an incredible way to be Jesus' hands and feet! Everyone needs to know they are loved-thank you for sharing His love with the people of Honduras!

It is so awesome that many are so generous and want to give, too. I cannot wait to hear what God will be doing through all of you and live vicariously through you in the process!! May your trip and all you do there be incredibly blessed by our Father~
