IF I KNEW JESUS WAS COMING BACK NEXT WEEK I’D STOP …
- Exercising
- Taking a vitamin.
- Watching what I eat.
- Being critical.
- Complaining
IF I KNEW JESUS WAS COMING BACK NEXT WEEK I’D …
- Spend every minute I could with my wife and boys.
- I’d visit as many friends and family and I could to make sure they were ready.
- I’d eat all the things I love to eat, but don’t. Krispy Kreme donuts, whole milk, chicken fried steak and two desserts with every meal.
- I’d pray more.
- I’d hug more.
- I’d complain less.
- I’d get my priorities right.
So why aren’t I doing these things now?

I would leave the one alone about eating all the things we love. It is important to stay healthy.
Other than that, all you have to do is change “I’d” to “I’ll. Imagine the effect on others this would have if we all did that.
because you would weigh 275 lbs!!
But the hugging stuff…you need to do that.
I liked this post. It does make you think of things that you enjoy and things that you should work more on…steph
I vacilate between wanting more time on earth and wishing Jesus would come now. I think I am finally at a point in my life when I know that this world and its problems are temporary. As the problems feel overwhelming, I want the temporary to become eternal joy. Can you imagine meeting Jesus at the same time as everyone else in your family/life? There would be no fear of leaving loved ones. They could come with you. Makes you want that “thief in the night” to be tonight!
Amen Anonymous!
ahhh, that is my first Amen!
