Saturday night about 11 I went to the bathroom & noticed water on the floor. (that's right Trey. the brand new partially tiled floor) A frantic investigation ferreted out a broken connection on the top of the water heater. It was spraying water all over the place. I had to drain it & turn the water off at the meter. Yesterday morning, I was just about to run to the in-laws to take a shower & get ready to go to bible class when I got the phone call saying it was cancelled. I spent the rest of the morning calling plumbers to find one that even had the parts to fix the problem. Finally around noon one came by & I helped him fix it. God was watching over us because when the water was turned back on; no leaks & no frozen pipes! I spent a little extra quiet time last night thinking of how bad things could have been & how good they came out & giving thanks... It’s pretty rough out there, isn’t it?
