10 Ways to Turn On a Woman

Every time I see an Old Spice commercial (like this one), an Axe hair-gel commercial or a TAG body-spray commercial, I just shake my head.  According to the commercials, if you just use these products, women will be uncontrollably attracted to you sexually.  Now men, I’ll be the first to admit, it is important to your wife that you smell good, BUT a quick shot of TAG body-spray is not going to make her jump you in the grocery store.

That got me to thinking about things that really turn a woman on. First thing husbands need to understand when it comes to sex is that men are like a microwave and women are more like a slow-cooker … meaning romance needs to start early in the day for wives.  Husbands, notice the list below … all these things start BEFORE bedtime … MEANING if you just wait for bedtime to get “romantic”, you’re probably too late!

So do you want to know how to turn on a woman?  Tag body-spray may help, but my money is on these…

  1. Give your wife a back or foot rub, no strings attached.
  1. Cook dinner one night and clean up the kitchen when you’re done.
  2. Buy her a gift certificate for a manicure, pedicure or massage … for no reason at all.
  3. Help pick up and clean the house.
  4. Cool it with the criticism.
  5. Stay home with the kids and let her get out of the house by herself, or take the kids out of the house and let her stay home by herself, her preference.
  6. Do a chore for her that she doesn’t like to do.
  7. Surprise her with her favorite candy, and don’t make a wise crack about the calories.
  8. Call her from work just to say hello.
  9. Tell your wife you get turned on just thinking about her.
  10. Take her on a weekly date.

So, wives … can you add some more I’ve missed?

Precisely! Those are super awesome. The whole “if you just wait for bedtime to get “romantic”, you’re probably too late!” is SO true… yet in the world we live in “kids here/ there, meetings now/ later, house stuff now/ then” it’s a danger for men AND women to forget to invest in their relationship throughout the day — yet SOOOOoooo critical.

I’ve heard women are diesel engines and men are gasoline.

    a. Smile big and wave if you happen to pass her on the street.
    b. Wrap your arms around her and just hug her.
    c. Brag on her to your friends and subtly let her know somehow.
    d. Let her cry in your arms when she needs to, and don’t try to fix it. Just hold her.

I love, love, love to get texts and short “I’m thinking of you” emails. And chocolate.

Anything that makes your wife feel cared for, and therefore special, is wonderful. (I do think most of these go both ways!) Here are a few suggestions:
    – If you have kids, get up and wrangle them on Saturday morning while your wife sleeps in. This is especially fantastic if your wife stays home with the kids.
    – Make sure she knows that you appreciate her non-physical attributes as well as her physical ones.
    – Acknowledge the importance of whatever she does as a job. If she’s an awesome stay at home mom, or a teacher, or just a grad student slogging through papers, make time to talk to her and show an interest in what she’s doing.
    – My favorite tip for parents of young children: Dads, share night-time duties. Every time a Dad “doesn’t hear” a baby or toddler a libido fairy dies. Don’t be a fairy killer.

LOL, I’ve to say the on the web dating or electronic dating has come a very long way from the days of simple chat rooms. More and more people are turning to online dating web sites to screen prospective dates.
