- I’ve got to have an anatomy discussion with my 7 year old son. He told me a couple of nights ago when his stomach was hurting, “Dad, it’ll be okay, it’s just my ovaries.” I didn’t know he even knew the word “ovaries.”
- It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen Taylor, our oldest. He’d been occasionally coming home for a quick visit, showing up just long enough for his mom to do his dirty laundry. (He’s a smart kid). It will probably be Thanksgiving before he comes this way again because he is starting his second semester of AIM classes. He’s been gone from Lubbock for the past 10 days on a campaign trip to Kentucky and to Alabama. I want to say a big thanks to those in the blog world that have encouraged him with cards, emails and support. Next month he’ll turn in his 5 choices of where he wants to go on the mission field. We’re praying God will place him where he can be used the best. Taylor has updated his blog if you’d like to keep up with what he’s doing: http://www.taylorrossmorgan.com/
- I’ve put together a little blog on running. I plan on posting videos and other short things about running. I’m also going to post some things on how to get started running. Here’s the address if you’d like to check it out: http://runtreyrun.blogspot.com/
- Check out these Jesus action figures. Definitely a little weird to me! But I did notice that Jesus’s football uniform looks like a Dallas Cowboys uniform. Just goes to show you, he must be a fan of theirs.
- I laughed at this video: Obi-Wan goes used car shopping.
- I’ve uploaded a new sermon to my sermon website. It’s the one I did last week in Amarillo at the Comanche Trails Church of Christ. It’s here if you want to listen.
- Happy Halloween … here’s a funny video…
(COMMENT OF THE DAY: Gallagher said… “I did notice the Jesus figure in the Cowboys looking outfit was called “I am faith…I guess to be a cowboys fan you have to have faith.Just a thought from a STEELER Fan (Born and Raised)”)

Maybe my ovaries have been acting up and I just didn’t know it!! Funny story. Great videos. I’ll check out the running blog … just out of morbid curiosity, you know.
What I do want to question is the need for missionaries in Alabama??? Isn’t that the buckle of the Bible belt? Other than auburn fans, you’re suggesting there are people in my fine home state who need the good news???
I think the word verification pretty much sums up my overall feelings about missionaries to Alabama: urgaliti
All right buddy. I checked out your running blog. Even added it to the sites I frequent.
Maybe another blog should be up soon that focuses on diet and nutrition?????
Love you bro!
Greg – I had a word verification the other day that was a dirty word. At least that’s what I was told. I actually don’t know those kind of words.
Doug – I plan on talking about foor and nutrition … at least what I’ve learned.
Thats too funny! My daughter stepped on my hubby’s, you know where. And said “I’m sorry I hurt your V*****” It was so funny since she was really little,
You must be proud of your son, mine wants to go to seminary but I don’t know that he will make it out of community college.
I listened to your sermon “what to do with your bible” thats good stuff.
I did notice the Jesus figure in the Cowboys looking outfit was called “I am faith…I guess to be a cowboys fan you have to have faith.

Oh I love the little kid running form his own fish.
My “ovaries” started hurting because I laughed so hard!
Yep, the kid running from the fish was priceless; kind of reminds me of my first fish catching experience!! Happy Halloween!
See to me it looks like a Jets uniform… Brett Favre ya know – not the Cowboys. Really preacher man, we all know God’s team is the Green Bay Packers and now He is reaching out to the Jets. Ya know, like he did the Gentiles
Seriously, ya think Heaven will have football. I mean both teams would have to win all the time though. How would that work?
the last kid running from the fish on the hook was great.
the jesus dolls are creepy, although i do have one I use as a sermon, but he is simply in a robe
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I enjoyed reading your blog today too. I’m so glad Taylor and the other AIMers enjoyed their trip and are back safe and getting started on a new term of classes. I pray they will all do well. Very funny video! Enjoying your blog about your running too. God bless you in all your doing!
The Jesus figures reminds me of my friends little boy who told his Sunday school teacher it was ok to talk about bull riding at Sunday school cause Jesus was a bull rider! Can’t wait to show it to her. I love reading your blog!
