I love professional football and I’m hoping the Cowboys will do well this year. I’m SUPER excited that the NFL officially kicks off tonight. Here are a few of my picks for this year…
AFC Championship: Ravens vs Patriots
(I just can’t go with the Jets … too much hype on them this year. Nothing makes me happier than not seeing the Steelers on this list.)
NFC Championship: New Orleans vs Cowboys
(Would love to say Cowboys, but I don’t want to jinx them. I really think the Packers could be there, but I just couldn’t bring myself to picking them.)
Super Bowl: Ravens over Saints

Couldn’t bring yourself to pick the Packers? You have so much to learn, young grasshopper. It you want to succeed in your fantasy league…you don’t go with your heart. Rodgers has a 78% pass rating in pre-season. Yes, I get that it’s pre-season, but 1st string is usually playing 1st string still…we have a couple of issues in the secondary, but we’ll get them fixed. Trust me…we…could…go…all…the…way!!!!!!!

I’m impressed with your sports knowledge. It reminds me of my wife’s. She can talk baseball with any man. I often times hear guys say, “She loves baseball and football? Where did you find a girl like that?”
There are a LOT of people who have Rogers set to be the best qb this year. I’m thinking he’ll be good…. but he’ll probably be behind Romo.
Well, then your wife could talk circles around me on baseball…football is my sport of choice so I don’t know as much on baseball. I loved going to the SEC tournament this year though. I love March Madness too…hate the NBA, but love college hoops.
And don’t think you’re getting off that easily with that remark…Behind Romo???? Excuse me until I quit laughing. Take off those…is it star colored?? glasses…geez

The Pack looked pretty good Sunday. May have been a little ugly, but it’s still a win.

I also still love Brett too. Glad to know we’re on the same page.
I still can’t stand the Vikings, but if it doesn’t affect the Pack I pull for Brett to do well. In fact, I’m headed back up to Lambeau for the Packers/Vikings game at the end of October so that I can see Brett play for probably the last time at Lambeau. I can’t wait…just hope he can still walk by then! Gee…that O-line needs to protect their Gramps better!
Green Bay wins and Minnesota gets close. Not a bad weekend for you.

Terry, I’ve heard of this contest. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I think they are giving away a lot of money. The Colts will be good. Hard to ever root against a classy guy like Manning.
