For those who’ve been checking for an update from Wednesday’s Dump Day, according to our best guesstimate, we cleared $35,000 Wednesday night. This is such a huge blessing. We SO wanted to continue the amazing Dump Ministry. Thanks to EVERYONE who gave, fasted and helped spread the word.
To say that Dump Day 2011 was a HUGE success, is an understatement. In economic times when “experts” say people just aren’t giving, over $35,000 was given in one day to continue the work at the dump in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. So much for the “experts” Also a MASSIVE thanks to Marc Tindall, Bobby Moore, and Bread For a Hungry World.
We’ll have a better estimate on the amount given in about two weeks. I’ll let you know. They fed at the dump on Wednesday. Here are some of the pictures that my friend, Andy Hubright, took. (CLICK HERE)
Once last thing: A new website has begun, and I’m loving it. It’s a website that’s covering the HUGE vegetable garden in Honduras that’s underway now. It also has dump work updates, etc. Check it out and save it in your favorites.
