"DAD, CAN YOU PUT MY BAPTISM ON YOUR BLOG?"

I was blessed to baptize my son, Connor, at camp on Friday. Lea and I have been talking to Connor for some time now about becoming a Christian. Connor decided it was time. Later that afternoon I asked him if he’d like to watch the video we shot of his baptism. He said, “Sure dad, and can you put it on your blog?”

I’m honored to put it on my blog, Connor. Your mom and I are very proud of you and we love you very much.

PS – The crazy guy you see briefly in the video is Nate, our fantastic (yet goof-ball) youth minister. He was shooting the video for us.

You are a better man than I, Gunga Din!

I don’t think I could get through baptising my own son without drowning him in my tears.

Great job! Congratulations to you and your wife for living a life before him that draws him to Jesus Christ.

    Wonderful!!

It’s been a long time since I got to see a baptism at QMCC. What a great place.

I have to ask, Are we hearing locusts, or are those rattlesnakes in the background?

  10. Kasia says:

Trey, very cool. I wish I had video of my kid’s baptisms. Tell Brother Conner I pray that his new life in Christ will be blessed.

  12. TREY MORGAN says:

Thanks for the kind words. I’ll sit Connor down later and have them read them.

Frank – Didn’t see any snakes but we did have locusts an 1000’s of frogs. Cooper (my 5 year old) brought home 5 frogs. At one time he had a bucket of about 50 and I made him take them all out.

Kasia – blessings in your ministry there in Poland. I pray for you on Wednesdays.

    Shei,

Wow … bringing up the past. Let’s see if I remember you from camp … kangaroo court, mud wrestling and lots of water fights. Ha. I remember you well. QMCC got a new pool this year. It was nice. I swam in it every day.

I miss the Brown family. I thought of your mom and dad this week while there. Your dad used to fix me special food to eat every night after we got the campers in bed.

Hope you’re well. When you get time email me and tell me more about how you and your family are. I’d love to hear from you.

  16. Dee O'Neil Andrews says:

Conner, that is wonderful camp news, indeed! Congratulations all on this great blessing.

May you faithfully walk with Christ throughout the rest of the days of your life, Conner, and ever be close to your parents and love each other all as God’s sweet children.
