AIM: I spent a little time in Lubbock yesterday morning with the AIM (Adventures In Missions) students. For those who don’t know, AIMers our young people, just out of high school, that have decided to give two years (or more) to world missions before going on to college. In a few short months these guys will be going to mission fields all over the world. AIM is an unbelievable ministry, doing amazing work through 19-22 year old young people. I have officially decided that AIMers are my heroes.
RUNNING: Ten of us from Childress are loading up this morning and headed down the road about 120 miles to Wichita Falls, Texas for the Weechita half marathon. This will be a challenge, because the 13.1 miles will all be on trails. I’m proud of our community that has produced 10 half marathoners for one race. I also think it’s pretty cool that out of the ten of us running, only 4 have run a half marathon before. I just want to say to those going … you guys are AWESOME … and you’re going to do great! (Pictures to come!)
As always, thanks for reading!

have a great run!
oh and my hat goes off the young men and women at AIM!
many blessings!
Those AIMers are heros. And anyone that can run 13.1 miles is pretty awesome too! Good Luck!!
Hey, I think those of us who never run a lick but READ about your running adventures are pretty awesome, too!
Thanks for coming down to speak to all of us. Hope the race goes well, I don’t know how you run so much, but every time I read about it I want to exercise more.
You make my knees hurt
